Haw Par Villa is known for its intricate statues and giant dioramas depicting Chinese mythology, folklore, legends, history, and illustration of various aspects of Confucianism. While the park is devoted to the netherworld, its history is very much a part of this world, with its origins that can be traced to something we use all the time - Tiger Balm.
